Piccola Cellars Shipping Policy
Recipient Restrictions By placing an order for an alcoholic beverage through our website, you formally represent that you are at least 21 years of age and that the intended recipient of the shipment is at least 21 years of age. The recipient will be required to show identification that that proves he or she is at least 21 years old and will be required to sign for the delivery. If the recipient cannot provide identification proving their age or the recipient’s home is vacant, the delivery will be re-attempted until the recipient is present and can provide identification. Shipping Policy We HIGHLY ENCOURAGE the use of a business address for shipping as an adult signature upon delivery is required for all wine shipments. Shipping wine during the extreme hot or cold months of the year is a major concern for us. We are happy to hold shipments until weather improves or put your shipment on hold until a pre-designated date. To ensure extreme weather conditions or temperature variances do not impact the quality of your wine, orders will only be shipped Monday through Wednesday for ground and 2nd day shipping, and Thursday for overnight shipments. Orders must be placed by 9:00am PST to go out the same day. Shipping Fees Policy All shipping costs incurred as part of a product exchange or return shall be furnished entirely by the customer. Piccola Wine has no control over where on the planet our products are used, and therefore does not cover any shipping costs to and from our facility. The only exception to this rule is when we have mistakenly shipped you the incorrect product, or the product arrived in unusable condition. Under these circumstances, Piccola Wine will absorb any and all shipping costs required to remedy the situation. Shipping Destinations State laws restrict or prevent shipping wine directly to consumers in some states. We are able to ship wine purchased over the internet to the states listed in the table below. Deliveries can only be made to physical addresses. We cannot ship to Post Office boxes or APO/FPO addresses. Some states restrict the amount a consumer can have shipped from a winery. The information below is a summary of the quantities we can ship.  Washington (No Limit)  ***Please Note: If your state is not listed above and you believe you can legally receive wine shipments in your state, please call us at (425) 486-9463, M-F, 10-5 PST or by email winestore @ Piccolawine dot com.
